How the plan is timed: it's built on the board's tentative SSC 2027 dates. Written exams run 15 Feb – 11 Mar 2027, and practicals and orals run 28 Jan – 13 Feb. Day 1 is Tue 17 Nov 2026 and Day 90 is Sun 14 Feb 2027, the day before the first paper.

• The 90% maths: the score is worked out on the best 5 subjects, so 90% means 450 out of 500. It also explains why getting 19–20 of the 20 internal marks in each subject means students only need about 88% in the written papers.
